The Grenadine islands of Bequia, Mustique, Mayreau and Canouan are all within your cruising grounds. If you wish to go further north you can visit the Pitons, St. Lucia and finish off your charter in Marigot Bay a sheltered anchorage on the West coast.

These are our suggestions of tried and true itineraries. You can also add a sleep aboard night at the beginning of your charter if you are arriving after 5.00p.m. If you plan a different itinerary, we will work that out with you. The golden rule - don't be too ambitious. Most people get to the Tobago Cays and after a few hours there, don't want to go any further!

| Suggested 7 Day Itinerary |
Day 1 |
Charter start. Following the comprehensive yacht and chart briefing depart from True Blue Bay. Sail to St. George’s for the first stop, anchor off Ross Point for the night. Walk along the Carenage and enjoy the traditional West Indian town.

Day 2 |
Exhilarating day sail to Tyrrel Bay, Carriacou. Anchor amongst the local fishing boats and enjoy a stroll and drink ashore at one of the many rum shops. The Carriacou Yacht Club offers a good welcome to visitors.

Day 3 |
Breakfast and swim at Sandy Island, a flawless piece of sand with no more than half a dozen palm trees. Watch the pelicans performing aerobatics around your boat as you eat. After breakfast and a snorkel, sail over to Union Island and complete check in formalities for St. Vincent at Clifton Harbour. Continue north for a short distance and drop anchor Saltwhistle Bay on Mayreau for the night.

Day 4 |
Enjoy a great breakfast at the Saltwhistle Bay Resort (dining Fliintstones style on rock tables) take a short sail to the Tobago Cays and the highlight of your trip. Spend the day snorkeling the reef and exploring by dinghy, or just stay on board and marvel at the natural beauty of the place. For dinner, BBQ under the stars.

Day 5 |
After a leisurely breakfast, sail back to Clifton for check out, and then head for the west side of Union Island, Chatham Bay. A beautiful deserted bay surrounded by hills. A beach barbeque with a local chef can provide great entertainment on an otherwise quiet night.

Day 6 |
Sail back to Grenada, make a stop at customs and immigration before heading into Prickly Bay on the south coast of Grenada. Enjoy a last night meal at one of the many local restaurants.

Day 7 |
Enjoy a leisurely sail back around to True Blue Bay for a noon finish. The crew at Horizon will be available to assist you, whether you are staying on a few days at the hotel or preparing to depart the island. |

Day 1 |
After a comprehensive boat and chart briefing, set sail for Hog island or the quaint capital of Grenada, St.Georges. After anchoring just South of the town off Ross Point, take a walk along the picturesque Carenage, itself an ancient volcanic crater. Pick up some gifts, visit the tiny museum and experience the local fruit and vegetable market

Day 2 |
Make an early start for an exhilarating day sailing to Tyrrel Bay, on the island of Carriaco. Enjoy cruising 20 miles up the leeward west shore of Grenada followed by a brisk 10 mile sail from the north-west shore of Grenada past Diamond Rock, and Ille de Ronde. Anchor amongst the local fishing boats and trading schooners that still ply their trade under sail today. Enjoy a stroll and a swim off the beach then BBQ the fish you caught on the passage from Grenada.

Day 3 |
A short early sail round to Sandy Island, a flawless sandy spit with no more than half a dozen palm trees. Watch the pelicans performing aquabatics around your yacht as you enjoy breakfast. Visit Hillsborough to clear out of Grenadian territory. Sail over to Petit St. Vincent and anchor behind the reef to the north east of the island for the fantastic snorkelling, then move round to the beautiful PSV anchorage for the night. Dinghy ashore for cocktails and an excellent meal at the exclusive hotel on PSV. |
Day 4 |
The dramatic peaks of Union Island, are a short down-wind sail away. Enter Clifton Harbour, and complete check-in formalities for St. Vincent territory. Set sail for palm-lined Saltwhistle Bay on the north west shore of Mayreau. Snorkel the reef on Grand Col Point. Hidden behind the pristine beach and palms of Saltwhistle, nestles a fine resort where you can enjoy dinner Flintstone-style on rock tables.

Day 5 |
Take an early morning stroll to the top of Mayreau and enjoy the magnificent views of the Tobago cays and surrounding islands. Navigate the channel to the Tobago Cays under the midday sunlight. Enjoy snorkelling Horseshoe reef whilst the divers aboard join a local dive company for a drift dive through Mayreau Gardens. |
Day 6 |
Set sail for chic Mustique, navigate clear of Montezumas shoal, and moor in Britannia bay. Tour by foot, taxi, or horseback past the homes of the rich and famous keeping an eye out for celebrity residents - Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Tommy Hilfiger. After lunch at Basil’s Bar sail over to the southwestern tip of Bequia, past Petit Nevis and anchor in Admiralty Bay. Soak up the friendly, bustling atmosphere ashore, with an excellent meal at one of the many restaurants.

Day 7 |
An early morning trip ashore to replenish provisions at the local ‘rasta’ market. Snorkel the reef off Princess Margaret's beach or dive the wall at Devil's Table before heading South again. Chatham Bay is your destination, a beautiful deserted bay surrounded by hills. Enjoy BBQ lobster, cooked to order on the beach. |
Day 8 |
Sail back to Clifton Harbour to check out of St. Vincent territory, a great down-wind sail to Tyrrel Bay on Carriacou. Maybe this time you'd like to try some local oysters offered by one of the fisherman in the bay! |
Day 9 |
One last passage to Grenada and overnight at Prickly Bay, a popular bay on the south coast of Grenada. Enjoy exclusive dining at one of the best restaurants on the island. At weekends, dance the night away to the local sounds of the steel pan band at the Boatyard. |
Day 10 |
A short leisurely sail brings you back around to True Blue Bay Marina for a noon finish. |

Arrive at Point Salines International Airport. Driver will meet you and assist you with your luggage into your accommodation. A company representative will be on hand to greet you with a cool rum punch and to ensure that you have everything you've requested.

Visit St. George's, the heart of Grenada and the prettiest capital city in the Caribbean. Experience the hustle & bustle of this traditional West Indian town; the Carenage is alive with fishing boats, traders and vendors. Visit historic Fort George and enjoy the panoramic views over the town. Then on to Grand Anse beach for a cool swim and a visit to the shopping mall. Dinner can be arranged at one of the fine restaurants.

Head out along the east coast, stopping at La Saggesse Nature Center for cool drinks on this spectacular palm lined beach. Visit the Laura Herb and Spice Garden where you will see eight acres of land under cultivation with many hers and spices sold worldwide. Drive north through the town of Grenville on to Belmont Estates, a thriving cocoa plantation with a museum of early plantation live. Lunch and tour can be arranged.

Yacht charter starts at noon. Following the comprehensive yacht and chart briefing with Horizon Yacht Charters depart from True Blue Bay. Sail to St. George's for the first stop, anchor off Ross Point for the night. If you are sailing with a crew you will depart earlier and sail directly to Carriacou on this day.

Set sail for chic Mustique, and enjoy lunch at Basil's Bar, while you dream of your holiday home on this perfect tropical island. A reaching sail across to Admirality Bay, Bequia for the night. Soak up the friendly, bustling atmosphere ashore, with an excellent meal at one of the many restaurants. Bequia's famous for its wooden boat builders; take home a replica to remind you of your trip.

Set off south again, this time heading for the west side of Union Island. Chatham Bay is your destination, a beautiful deserted bay surrounded by hills. A beach barbeque with a local chef can provide the entertainment on an otherwise quiet night.

Back to Clifton Harbour to check out of St. Vincent, then a great down wind sail to Tyrrel Bay on Carriacou. Take a taxi tour around the island and watch the sunset from Hospital Hill.

Sail back to Grenada where you will return your yacht to Horizon Yacht Charters base at True Blue Bay Marina. Return to your booked accommodation.

Drive up the west coast of Grenada to visit the stunning Concorde waterfall in St. Johns. Head into the center of the island to visit Grant Etang National Park, where well marked nature trails can take you along the picturesque Crater Lake.

Spend your last morning shopping for gifts and souvenirs to take home with your from the Vendors market in Grand Anse. You'll find a good selection of spices and hand made crafts to choose from. Your driver will pick you up for your check in at the airport.
